    During his distinguished career at the United Nations, Edmond Mulet has overseen the creation of UN peacekeeping missions in Darfur, South Sudan, the Central African Republic/Chad, Syria, and - most recently - Mali. In this PEP Forum, he will discuss the complexities of creating new operations; how to balance the competing demands of host countries, troop contributors, and Security Council members; and other lessons learned during his tenure.
