A conversation with
United Nations Assistant Secretary General for Peacekeeping Operations
During his distinguished career at the United Nations, Edmond Mulet has overseen the creation of UN peacekeeping missions in Darfur, South Sudan, the Central African Republic/Chad, Syria, and - most recently - Mali. In this PEP Forum, he will discuss the complexities of creating new operations; how to balance the competing demands of host countries, troop contributors, and Security Council members; and other lessons learned during his tenure.
This event will be conducted under the Chatham House Rule.
