Senate Foreign Relations Committee passes Foreign Relations Authorization Act for Fiscal Years 2010-11

It's the first time in five years that the SFRC has passed such a bill.
On April 27, 2010, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee passed the Foreign Relations Authorization Act for Fiscal Years 2010-2011 by voice vote.
Key peacekeeping-related provisions of the Committee mark:
- Synchronizes U.S. dues to the UN
- Raises the cap on U.S. contributions to UN peacekeeping to 27.5%
- Creates an Office on Global Women’s Issues in the State Department
